The Auto Body Guard is a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) program that protects cars and trucks against door dings and small dents without the need for expensive and time-consuming body shop repairs.

PDR was developed by automobile manufacturing production teams to permanently remove door dings and minor dents.

The innovative PDR process uses specialized hand tools to manipulate and flex metal back to its original form. Because PDR works from behind the vehicle’s damage, it does no require sanding, painting or body fillers. This helps to retain the vehicle’s resale value. In most cases, there is no evidence that a dent ever existed.

This administratively clean program is insured by an A-rated insurance company under the Auto Body Guard program, a dealer may recondition used vehicles and certify new ones. The dealer initially receives a 90-day service agreement, then later transfers this agreement to the customer. After this transfer, the F&I department can upgrade the customer to a 3-year door ding service agreement, yielding additional dealer profits.
